CHOIR! tmr will be our BIG day! the day we shine on stage. Prove to others that we can sing! UNIQVOICES! we can do it! we have been practising hard for these few months,only for the few minutes on stage. So let's give our best effort when singing! for some of us, it is our last syf and last performance... Let's JIAYOUs! WE CAN DO IT! EAGLE MENTALITY! STRONGER FRAME OF MIND! JYJY!!!

okay updates below for 19april (SYF)

this is the plan:

8.00am- report to school (wear ur sch shoes first, can bring slippers to change ltr at music room and pls gel ur hair before 8am)

8-10.00am- warm up I

10-11.30am- lunch,change,make up

11.30-warm up II

12.45pm-Bus leave school

1.30pm-report to SOTA

2.15pm- PERFORMANCE!

PLS RMB TO CHECK THIS BLOG ON 18april (in case there are changes)

pls rmb to bring:

-hair net,many many many hair pins,rubber band, a lot of gel (wet)

-gown,heels,safety pins,water bottle,scores,make up set (foundation,blusher,lip stick)

-food: bun/bread

okay, for the monday morning sectionals, it depends on whether you wanna come or not.... well choir, we all know today prac is wasted. our frame of mind is weak. Tears are shed todayy. This shows that all of us cares bout the choir and wanna get a gold right? so let's all persevere till the end. it is our last lap. we have been working very hard right? Prove that we can do it. It is tiring bt let's JIAYOUS for this last lap. TUESDAY is our BIG DAY, to show others we can do it. pls reflect on today.

Choir! Today prac is at least btr than last Thursday 's prac. Choir,we left 3more practices. We need th focus,th eagle stare. Pls rmb!!!! Look thru ur scores,rmb those dynamics. Do ur situps everyday . Every practice counts now. We left 3 more only! We need to work hard tgt! Come on, let 's put in effort when singing. Give th energy that Mrliew wants. Jiayous choir! We wan btr results for syf right? So let's jyjy!

THE 2010 JOURNEY

We've cried, we've teared and we've gone thru all these practices to improve our singing skills and you know what, we'll defitnely continue to work hard.
We've unleashed the magic while we're performing on stage in Port Dickson, and this magic does not come out by luck, it was everyone's effort. It was fun and we've enjoyed ourselves very much in the Port Dickson trip. So, let's continue to enjoy ourselves in 2011!^^

THE 2009 JOURNEY

2009 has been a really fruitful year for our school’s choir, the UniqVoices. At the beginning of the year, we had a common vision for our choir, and that was to do well for the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) competition in April. Hard work, determination and perseverance were the qualities needed for every single practice session. An open mind to constructive criticism was also important too. With all the efforts put in by every member of the UniqVoices, we were awarded our second consecutive Silver Award during the SYF competitions. When our results were announced, everyone felt a sense of achievement and thrill. Tears of joy were even shed!

Our choir also put up a well-received performance for the monthly lunchtime performances held in the school. It was great fun as we were able to let our fellow schoolmates and teachers see the progress we have made and to share the love of singing!!!
